The Monofilament Recovery and Recycling Program…
…a volunteer-based program
To successfully establish and maintain the MRRP throughout
Florida, we need your help. Our funds come almost exclusively
from donations and sponsorship. Monetary donations have ranged
from state and federal organizations to local businesses.
Funding supports all of the efforts of the MRRP, from clean-up
events to bins and from brochures to presentations.
Below is a sample list of materials and the
approximate costs in 2007:
Signs (100 signs) $1,075
Outdoor bin supplies (100 bins) $2,500
Educational Brochures $2,500
MRRP t-shirts $900
Promotional Materials (banners, key chains, etc.) $400
Please consider donating to this worthwhile cause. Upon your
donation, you will receive the recognition and publicity as a
member of the MRRP partnership and the satisfaction of
contributing to a healthier environment throughout Florida.
If you are obtaining products for the program, please use
this guide when calculating contributions:

outside of Florida or in need of large quantities and need to
purchase MRRP supplies.
Sponsoring the T-shirt?
If you would like to be a T-shirt sponsor, the MRRP has three
available sponsor sites on the back of our t-shirts. Below is a
sample of the design. Each sponsor site costs $300. The purchase
of the site entitles you to advertising on one lot of t-shirts
(144). We will give twelve of the t-shirts to you and your
employees. Logos need to be in high resolution format.
